Recently, our company customized a 15 tons low voltage rail powered RGV for a large Mold Factory, effectively addressing pain points such as low efficiency and poor safety in high temperature mold handling, while assisting the enterprise in achieving intelligent production transformation.
The RGV has overall dimensions of 400018001000mm and adopts a box‑girder double‑layer frame structure, offering excellent rigidity and stability under heavy loads to ensure no deformation during the transfer of 15 ton molds. Utilizing low voltage rail power supply technology, it completely eliminates range constraints, enabling continuous operation without distance or time limitations, making it well‑suited for high temperature, high frequency, and long distance mold production lines.
Intelligent operation and safety: The RGV is equipped with insulated wheels, carbon brushes, and a collector shoe‑based underlying power supply system, combined with a laser emergency stop function and a three‑colors audible and visual alarm, ensuring comprehensive operational safety in high temperature environments. A dedicated control panel is installed on the equipment platform, allowing on‑site personnel to monitor and intervene at any time.
Convenient operation and customized service: The vehicle adopts wireless remote control and intelligent coding technology, paired with an LED display for real‑time operational status feedback, making operation more intuitive and precise.
Additionally, an automatic flip ladder and a towline‑powered auxiliary trolley are installed on one side of the platform, enabling precise docking with left and right rails and fixed devices in the firing workshop. This facilitates autonomous loading and unloading of high temperature molds, significantly reducing manual intervention and waiting time for hoisting.
With its heavy load capacity and intelligent design, the RGV is well‑suited for the cross‑process transfer needs of high temperature molds in mold factories, driving the upgrade of mold handling toward efficiency, safety, and automation.
