XR technology startup Looksten today previewed VISTY, an all-in-one virtual studio set to launch in 2026. Designed with inclusivity at its core, VISTY aims to dismantle the technological, financial, and physical barriers that have historically limited access to the creator economy, especially for aspiring virtual streamers (VTubers).
For years, live streaming with virtual avatars has required high-performance PCs and fragmented workflows with unstable software, making it a costly and complex endeavor. VISTY addresses these challenges by consolidating the entire production pipeline—from motion capture and 3D rendering to live streaming—into a single, intuitive application that runs entirely on a standalone VR headset.
“Technology should be an enabler, not a gatekeeper,” said Hwang Jungsub, CEO of Looksten. “Our vision was to re-architect a complex process into a singular, intuitive VR experience. VISTY is the result of that mission, built from the ground up for true accessibility and creative freedom. We call this ‘Barrier-Free Communication.’”
Backed by patents such as its "Virtual Space Automatic Generation System," VISTY’s technical excellence directly supports its inclusivity goals. Built-in accessibility features—including seated mode and one-handed operation—ensure that individuals with physical disabilities can create comfortably. Furthermore, its AI-powered voice modulator provides a layer of anonymity, empowering users to express themselves freely without fear of bias.
By radically simplifying the production process with accessibility at its core, VISTY offers more than just a new tool. It establishes a new, more inclusive stage where anyone can become a creator and share their story. This vision is reinforced through Looksten’s collaboration with Gachon University in order to bring peer-reviewed research into VISTY’s development.
