As a comprehensive needle valve, NV1 needle valve has become the most widely used needle valve type in Hikelok. So why is this needle valve called a comprehensive needle valve, and what are the reasons for it becoming the most widely used needle valve?
Firstly, it is a needle valve forged as a whole. What does' whole 'mean? Simply put, it means merging the valve body and bonnet into one. The NV1 needle valve has lost its bonnet and the bonnet has been forged onto the valve body. The overall forging has higher strength compared to the original threaded connection, mainly due to the absence of potential leakage points at the connection between the valve body and the bonnet.
Next is the two-piece valve stem. The so-called two-piece valve stem divides a valve stem into two parts, and the upper and lower valve stems are connected by hinges. The original one valve stem needs to be driven and sealed, and the upper and lower valve stems separate the sealing and transmission. There are three typical advantages:
1. The upper valve stem drives and the lower valve stem seals, isolating the pollution of the transmission thread lubricating grease on the medium, and also preventing the lubricating grease from being washed away by the medium for long-term lubrication.
2. The lower valve stem has changed from the original spiral upward and downward movement to upward and downward movement, which is more friendly to the packing and has a longer service life.
3. The sealing contact of the valve tip changes directly from rotating and pressing to up and down movement. Non rotating contact can greatly improve the service life of the valve tip and seat, making it durable and reliable.
So the two valve stems are forged as a whole, and by integrating the valve body and valve cap, the strength is improved and a potential leakage point is reduced. The sealing conditions of the upper and lower valve stems are greatly improved compared to the original single valve stem, whether it is the packing or the valve tip and seat sealing, so it can be widely used.
