Poughkeepsie, NY - March 24, 2025 - Charlia Frank Inc. proudly announced the successful conclusion of its “Breakfast and Books” event, which took place at 505 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, NY. In collaboration with local nonprofits and community-based organizations, the event welcomed approximately fifty students for an enriching experience.
The organization expressed gratitude to the City of Poughkeepsie Councilmembers Da’Ron Wilson, Ernest Henry, Evan Menist, Terriciena Brown, Nathan Shook, Ondie James, Christopher Grant, Nedra Patterson Thompson, and Sakima McClinton for partnering to make reading fun. Their support and involvement helped create a vibrant atmosphere for the young attendees.
This family-friendly event aimed to inspire youth to embrace reading and discover the joy it brings. Attendees enjoyed a delicious breakfast, engaging crafts, exciting prizes, and a wide selection of books to explore.
