1. Injection molding
It refers to injecting the heated and melted material into the mold cavity under high pressure, cooling and solidifying it to obtain a molded product. This method is suitable for the mass production of parts with complex shapes and is an important processing method.
There are several common types, including conventional injection molding, inlay injection molding, double-material injection molding, micro-foam injection molding, low-pressure injection molding, gas-assisted injection molding, and in-mold injection molding.
2. Blow molding
Blow molding, also known as hollow blow molding, is a rapidly developing plastic processing method. The tubular plastic preform obtained by extrusion or injection molding of thermoplastic resin is placed in a split mold while hot (or heated to a softened state). After the mold is closed, compressed air is immediately introduced into the preform to inflate it and cling to the inner wall of the mold. After cooling and demolding, various hollow products are obtained.
3. Slush skin molding
The slush molding process (Slush) involves heating the slush mold with leather grain as a whole. The mold and the slush powder box are connected and rotated. The slush powder in the powder box naturally falls into the mold and melts, forming a skin with leather grain that is consistent with the inner surface of the mold. Then, the mold is cooled, the powder box is separated, and the worker removes the skin. Common slush skin material types are PVC, TPU, and TPO.
4. Hot pressing and laminating molding
Hot-pressing molding includes many types. Interior decoration mainly introduces hot-pressing molding of hemp fiberboard. This molding is mainly used in automobile door panels and inlay panels. Its main advantages are lightweight, good sound absorption, good heat insulation, and environmental protection.
