546 Ventures announced the appointment of Sharif Mohamed as Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Sharif will join 546 Ventures and oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm's portfolio and efforts, as well as its Research & Advertising advisories. Mr. Sharif formerly worked as the Managing Partner of Agile Technologies LLP in the Maldives and as a consultant for Shuaz Investment Pvt Ltd, a Maldives-based corporation that invests in hospitality and real-estate development.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree from The University of West of England and a Global Management certificate from INSEAD. He has previously worked as a Non-Executive Director for leading hotel investment "South Palm Maldives Pvt Ltd" and as a Consultant at Shuaz Investment Pvt Ltd. Mr. Sharif has years of expertise in a variety of fields and is a Maldivian politician who worked as a high-level official for the President's Office as Media Coordinator in 2015.
According to 546 Ventures, the venture will open in 2023 and will provide assistance to idea-stage and early-stage firms.
