Short-term rental expert and entrepreneur Sean Rakidzich has announced a partnership with The Harvest Project Food Rescue to raise awareness and provide for local hungry families as part of his housewarming event, at The Victor, on Thursday, December 1, 2022.

Passionate about helping feed families in need, Rakidzich is bringing the party to him, literally. The entrepreneur, educator, and real estate innovator is greeting his new 343 neighbors in style at the 40-story and elegant The Victor. The property at Dallas’ popular Victory Park Skyline includes a range of one- and two-bedroom suites, as well as penthouses. Initially, his new home will serve as a gathering to bring awareness to food waste and insecurity.

“It’s exciting to start a new year in a beautiful space, with amazing neighbors and a worthy cause to get behind,” said Rakidzich. “We are going to make supporting hunger initiatives fun on Thursday. Food waste and insecurity has run rampant in our society and I look forward to creating an event where we can not only bring light to the issue, but also help the organization feed more families in need. The Harvest Project has provided for Dallas in spades.”

The Harvest Project Food Rescue was founded in 2014 and has since served numerous families via a food distribution program that makes produce both accessible and free of charge. Its founders, Danae Gutierrez and Luis Carillo, in conjunction with South Coast Produce Inc., redirect imperfect produce that grocery stores won’t allow and return them to underserved families. The mission for the non-profit organization is to conquer food waste and insecurity in rescuing surplus produce that would otherwise be bound for a landfill.

“We are helping our communities decolonize their respective diets to live a healthier life and promote a sustainable food system,” said Gutierrez. “We are dedicated to spearheading city policy and state laws to achieve food justice for all.”

Rakidzich, who currently hosts over 150 locations as part of his signature Airbnb Automated model, has garnered over $10 million in the real estate space despite having never owned a single property.
