Mark Carta Brings Strategy and Skill to Legal Practice

Carta McAllister & Moore LLC services clients in the Darien Town in Connecticut area with a variety of legal issues, including family law resolution, professional litigation and employee disputes. Each member of the legal team brings expertise and a customized approach to handling complex matters with skill and precision.

Mark Carta is one of the team members at Carta McAllister & Moore LLC and is particularly adept in writing. He spends two years at a boarding school in the New England area where writing skills were emphasized. He later went to an Ivy League school where he was provided with the resources to become his law school’s Associate Editor of the Law Review. This gave Carta in-school experience with handling tough lawsuits against some of the country’s top firms.

Carta is naturally a strategic thinker and problem solver and his colleagues selected him as head of the Litigation Department in Whitman Breed Abbott & Morgan LLC’s Greenwich location during the first part of his legal career. Before opening Carta, McAllister and Moore, Mark was a managing partner and Litigation Department Head at Rucci Burnham. This wealth of experience has given Carta the ability to explain legal matters to clients in a clear and concise manner.

Carta understands that clients will likely encounter emotional and financial strain as a result of pursuing a lawsuit. He advocates that lawsuits should be a last resort for most people and that individuals should only consider taking matters to court when absolutely necessary. This stance alone makes Carta especially trustworthy in the eyes of clients who are seriously considering lawsuits to handle real estate, executive, or family disputes.

Mark’s personal experiences also contribute to his legal philosophies and customer service methods. He was raised in Fairfield and lived in nearly every town in Fairfield County while developing his professional career. This afforded him the opportunity they get to know people in the region and become familiar with the values and priorities of families and business owners. CMM wants to help members of the community who need assistance in discreet areas of the law that may be sensitive in nature. Carta also knows that these legal matters can be costly and offers financing options to make a client’s case a little less overwhelming. Potential clients are encouraged to visit the legal offices for a consultation. During this time, Carta and his legal team will go over specific details of the case to determine the best course of action and timeline for court proceedings.

Carta is also part of the community and offers his expertise to the Board of Silvermine Guild of Artists; he is also a founder member of A Better Chance of Wilton, a nonprofit organization offering educational opportunities and resources to minority high school students. He was president of A Better Chance of Wilton for two years and has been the legal counsel on the Executive Committee for the past two decades.
