The Jamaica Celebrity Sports Camps is an annual event organized by RuJohn Foundation. The event is hosted in line with the organization’s goal of providing the necessary tools for education to the rural and inner-city schools of the United States and Jamaica. The annual event includes sports camps led professional athletes and acting workshops anchored by successful actors and entertainers in Kingston and Montego Bay Jamaica. The 2019 edition of the event is scheduled to hold from June 16 to 22, with notable names on the list of attendees.
Since it was founded in 2003 by Christina and Andrew Bachelor, the RuJohn Foundation has stayed true to its goal of helping needy students and other such persons across Jamaica and the U.S. reach their full potential by providing workshops, school supplies, academic scholarships, and refurbished basketball courts. The annual celebrity camps is one of the ways the foundation has been able to achieve its goal in recent times, using sports and creativity as a source of motivation.

Some of the names expected to attend the event include Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor (Meet the Blacks), Emmy Nominated Actor DeStorm Power (Caught), and Darius Butler (Indiana Colts).
