Having made his early fortune through creating and trading cryptocurrency, Ezekiel Osborne is building a solution to help other investors turn their coins into cash.
In the magazine, Osborne’s discusses how he went from mowing lawns to having a personal wealth of over $200million in the past six years. The 25-year-old started by trading cryptocurrency early, before founding his Dubai-based end-to-end technology solutions company, now called Lightspeed Tech, in 2015.
Born in Ipswich, Australia, Osborne’s success story is inspiring many cryptocurrency investors today. A high school dropout, Osborne’s journey has been unconventional, yet very inspiring. Giving up on formal education at the age of 15, Osborne started doing menial jobs in Ipswich, Queensland, to earn a living, but he was still prudent with his money. Aged 18 he bought a house with his savings, took out a mortgage against it and used the money to start his first business—arranging and carrying out maintenance for real estate agents.
Furthermore, Osborne is famously known as one of seven initial co-founders of Monero, the first completely untraceable cryptocurrency and one of the top ten best-performing cryptocurrencies globally according to CoinMarketCap and Cointelegraph. He has numerous other projects in mind and stated some of them in the interview.
Once he achieves his milestone, Osborne is considering exploring an entirely different direction. According to him, “In future I want to do something for free, spend my time having an impact. I want to do motivational speaking—after all, I came from nothing. I want to inspire people. I think you create your own opportunities. It is very much a skill set.”
