USA Iron Market Market - Trends, Analysis and Forecast to 2025

The other related products with less notable individual shares together comprised approx. 44% of the total output. From 2008 to 2016, the value of shipments of hot rolled steel bars and bar shapes, plates, structural shapes, and piling (including concrete reinforcing and tool steel bars), made in steel mills declined at an average annual rate of -5.5%. At the same time, the output of hot rolled steel sheet and strip (including tin mill products, tinplate, blackplate, terneplate, and tin-free steel), made in steel mills fell by an average -2.3% per year.
