Classic Chinos, the project that aims to revolutionize pant for plus size men, has announced that their Kickstarter campaign is live and underway now. Chinos are pants designed specifically for large-waisted men to give them the comfort and style that others enjoy.
“We have carried out extensive research on the comforts and needs of plus-size men before launching the Chinos project,” says Simone Eberth, a self-confessed problem solver and the brains behind Chinos. “Men with large waist have to spend time and effort trying to fit into a pair of trousers. We want to solve this long-standing problem of plus-size men with Chinos.”
Chinos is the perfect pant for plus size men as it has been specifically designed for their size, style and comfort. The designer wants men with plus size body type to look their best and the idea of Chinos was born from the belief that there is a solution for everybody.
Simone Eberth welcomes suggestions and ideas from people facing the problem of finding the right fit pant for their plus size body type. She if of the opinion that input from men can help her team create the product that can evolve with needs of the users.
Plus size men do not have many choices when it comes to finding a pair of trousers with the best fit. Loose fitting trousers make them look even bigger while the average fitting types force them to deal with the inevitable ‘plumber’s crack’. Ultimately, they have to settle with what’s available on the market.
Chinos pants have been designed to fit the large-waisted men perfectly. It is different from the pants for plus size men available off the shelf. Chinos come with multiple belt loops. The pattern is adapted to their body type with a lower front panel and a waist line that comes with a stretch for providing the best possible fit around the extra-large waist. Other carefully designed feature is the deep hand pockets. Chinos provide the classic look that large-waisted men can wear every day.
The Kickstarter campaign for the Chinos project aims to raise €15,000 to fund the design, development, manufacturing and marketing areas of the project. The deadline to hit the financial goal is July 27, 2017.
The team Chinos has spent over two years studying, testing, and re-testing many times over to arrive at the best possible solution. The first proto-type was created in June 2015 and the first industrial pant was produced in October 2016. Production will commence in September 2017 and the first lot will be shipped in November 2017.
