King of Avalon Introduces Golden Peace Shield to Protect Game Legacy of the Dead

Global strategy mobile game King of Avalon, recently announced that it would issue a permanent golden peace shield to those players who had died unfortunately to ensure their hard-won cities would not left in ruins.

The incident began when a Chinese player posted a story about his Iraqi friend qs8 on the official events page during the second anniversary: his friend lost his wife and daughter due to the terrorist attack and then died of fighting against the terrorist organization after joining in the governmental peacekeeping force.

After the news of qs8's death was confirmed, players of the server went to his castle to set up a tent to mourn him. In honor of King of Avalon’s player fighting for peace, Kingsgroup, King of Avalon's publisher, a week later said that it would grant qs8 a permanent golden peace shield to protect his territory from invasion by other players after his death and hoped that peace would last around him.

The official in charge of the policy showed that the story of qs8 was a tragedy and while King of Avalon was a war-themed game, but the company agreed to the idea of qs8 very much: one day there would be no conflict and wars would only take place in the game.

“In addition to qs8, the golden peace shield will be awarded to those who are unable to log on to the game again because of death to show the mourning for each player.” the official explained as well.

As the mobile game business grows globally, many companies will also encounter the same problem-how to make the virtual characters those players built be respected as they should since the players will also die of old age and sickness. Kingsgroup has indeed set up a good example for us.
