About-Derek has been drawing since childhood and started painting in his early teens. At the age of 18, he began professional airbrushing and acrylic painting while also starting a career in tattoo making. In his early 20’s, he apprenticed under Crosseyed Airbrushing, to polish his skills by learning the finer points of the artform on motorcycle and steel. He used these techniques along with brush acrylic to develop canvas paintings.
