Vered Grenadir has been a leading international make-up artist in the NY fashion world and cosmetic industry. Yet, the more her career flourished, the more negatively she felt about her own appearance: “I was surrounded by beautiful models and breathtaking movie stars. Photographers buzzed around them, magazine editors, stylists and hairstylists were all taken by their beauty. I felt invisible.”
Over time, the experience opened her eyes to the many shortcomings of the fashion world and especially to the negative perspective it gives women about their own beauty.
