A New DIY HVAC King: MiniSplitReview.com's 2026 Rankings:

MiniSplitReview.com published its updated "Best DIY Mini Splits 2026" rankings in June 2026, an annual evaluation that has become one of the most referenced guides in the DIY mini split market. This year's rankings reflect a significant shift: Zone Air DIY claimed the #1 overall position, names like MRCOOL, Pioneer, and Senville all shifted, brands that have dominated the DIY conversation for years.

The review site evaluated each brand across efficiency, cold-climate performance, reliability, warranty terms, and true DIY install usability. The key reasons Zone Air earned the top ranking include:

  • USA-based assembly with 100% unit testing and inspection before shipment

  • Near-premium build quality that the review described as approaching Mitsubishi standards

  • Comprehensive warranty that supports DIY installs without requiring a licensed contractor

  • Pre-charged line sets eliminating the need for specialized HVAC tools or EPA certification

  • Cold-climate heating documented down to −13°F, competitive with premium contractor-only brands

Other brands appeared in the rankings. MRCOOL DIY remains a recognized name in the space, and Pioneer and Senville continue to serve the budget segment. However, MiniSplitReview.com specifically noted that Zone Air has closed the quality gap with premium brands while keeping the accessibility that defines the DIY category.

Why Zone Air DIY Rose to #1 in 2026

Zone Air's approach has been straightforward: build direct-to-consumer ductless mini split systems that match premium contractor grade equipment on performance and outlast budget imports on reliability, all while keeping the DIY convenience.

  • USA-based assembly and testing: Every Zone Air unit goes through assembly, quality inspection, and pressure testing at Zone Air's US facilities. MiniSplitReview.com quoted this as the single biggest differentiator pushing Zone Air close to Mitsubishi reliability. A claim no other DIY brand can currently match.

  • True DIY pre-charged line sets: Each Zone Air ductless mini split ships with pre-charged line sets that contain refrigerant. Homeowners connect the indoor air handler to the outdoor compressor without touching refrigerant gauges or a vacuum pump. Zone Air DIY systems prioritize ease of installation and do not require specialized HVAC tools.

  • High efficiency and certifications: Zone Air models reach up to 24 Seer 2 efficiency, best in the DIY class. Which means Zone Air units qualify for Energy Star and cold-climate certifications. This positions Zone Air as a best mini split choice for primary heating and cooling.

  • DIY-friendly support: Zone Air backs every system with a 5-year parts warranty, a 45-day satisfaction guarantee, WiFi control with smart home integration features that allow temperature control via Wi-Fi and voice assistants, and support resources built specifically for first-time DIYers.

  • Real cost savings: DIY mini-split kits can save $3,000 to $5,000 on installation compared with contractor-installed ductless mini splits or central air heat pump replacements. That's money back in your pocket from day one.

DIY Installation: What Makes a Mini Split Truly "DIY"?

Not all ductless mini split systems marketed as "DIY" actually allow a full diy install without vacuum pumps or refrigerant handling. The distinction matters - both legally and practically.

  • True DIY systems like Zone Air DIY ship with pre-charged line sets and quick-connect fittings. This eliminates the need for refrigerant gauges, vacuum pumps, or EPA Section 608 certification. Most DIY mini-splits can be installed in just a few hours by a homeowner with basic skills.

  • Core installation steps: Mount the indoor air handler on the wall, set the outdoor condenser on a pad or bracket, drill the wall penetrations, route and connect the line set, and make electrical connections. Zone Air's step-by-step installation guide walks through each phase.

  • Safety and codes: DIY installation requires knowledge of electrical work and drainage. Homeowners must follow local building codes, use proper disconnects, and pull permits where required. Some jurisdictions require permits for mini split installations. Most units in the 9,000–12,000 BTU range run on 115V circuits, while larger units need 230V - which may require a licensed electrician.

  • Traditional mini splits by contrast: Contractor-installed systems require nitrogen pressure testing, vacuum pumping, and refrigerant charging. Professional installation costs range from $1,000 to $3,500 in labor alone. Even if the equipment is sold online, these steps are better handled by licensed pros.

Costs, Rebates, and Total Value in 2026

The real decision comes down to total cost of ownership: equipment price, install cost, energy savings, and available incentives.

  • DIY vs. professional install: A typical professionally installed single-zone mini split costs equipment plus $1,000–$3,500 in labor. With a Zone Air DIY kit, homeowners primarily pay for the unit and basic electrical materials, often saving $3,000–$5,000 on installation costs. That savings changes the payback math dramatically.

  • Energy savings: Efficient ductless mini split heat pumps like Zone Air's up to 24 SEER2 models can significantly cut power bills versus electric baseboards, space heaters, window ACs, and older hvac systems. Mini splits can deliver two to four units of heating or cooling output per electricity unit consumed. For specific savings estimates, check how much can a mini split save me.

  • 2026 incentives: Federal tax credits for mini splits can reach up to $2,000 under Section 25C for qualifying heat pump installs. State and utility rebates may add further savings when systems meet CEE tier and efficiency requirements. Use Zone Air's rebate calculator to estimate your potential savings.

  • Verify eligibility: Confirm that your chosen Zone Air model meets current rebate and tax-credit criteria. Rules vary by state and utility. Consult a tax professional for specifics on claiming the credit.

  • Ongoing costs: Maintenance and filter cleaning are low-cost tasks that keep ductless mini split systems operating at peak energy efficiency for many years. The total cost of a DIY mini split over its lifetime is substantially lower than comparable contractor-installed alternatives.

Why Zone Air Likely Leads the DIY Mini Split Market in 2026

The 2026 ductless mini split landscape looks fundamentally different than it did even two years ago. New SEER2 standards have raised the performance floor, refrigerant regulations have eliminated outdated formulations, and energy costs continue climbing - all of which make choosing the right system more consequential than ever.

Zone Air DIY sits at the top of MiniSplitReview.com's 2026 rankings because it solved the central tension of the DIY market: you no longer have to choose between affordable self-installation and reliable, efficient equipment. USA-based assembly and inspection, pre-charged line sets for true DIY install, up to 24 SEER2 efficiency, and cold-climate performance down to −13°F, all measurable and relevant reasons a third-party review site like MiniSplitReview.com named Zone Air the new #1.

Real Site Worth Launches Free AI Tool to Value Websites, Domains, and Social Accounts

Real Site Worth Launches Free AI Tool to Value Websites, Domains, and Social Accounts
Website owner celebrating his digital asset's value with the Real Site Worth free valuation tool
Real Site Worth launched a free tool that estimates what websites, domains, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and newsletters are worth — a value range, a plain-English memo explaining the number, and a roadmap to raise it before selling. No account, email, or payment required.

CLEVELAND, OH - June 29, 2026 - Real Site Worth officially launched to the public today. The company has built a free valuation tool that estimates what websites, domains, YouTube channels, TikTok accounts, Instagram accounts, newsletters, and other digital assets are worth. Enter a URL and the tool returns a credible value range, a plain-English valuation memo explaining the number, and a value-gap roadmap of steps to raise the asset's worth before selling. No account, email, or payment required.

The reason this matters more than asking ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude "what's my site worth" is that the estimate is built on current, measured data rather than generic guesswork. Every estimate is a range with a confidence signal — not a single fake-precise number — and the report plainly labels the signals it could not measure rather than filling the gaps with assumptions. Unlike most valuation tools, the dollar figure is produced by deterministic model logic in code. The AI writes the memo that explains the result; it does not create the figure or invent facts.

User data isn't used to train AI, and nothing entered is sold to brokers or marketers. Only the domain and the metrics the engine computes are processed — personal information is never sent to AI providers. People get an instant read on what an asset is worth without a callback, a signup, or a sales pitch.

The tool reads each property in one of three modes — an operating online business, an aged domain, or a bare domain name — and reports the measurable signals behind the estimate, including traffic concentration, monetization evidence, authority, backlink cleanliness, technical risk, and brand consistency. It is an automated estimate for orientation and preparation, not a formal appraisal, broker opinion, or financial advice.

Whether someone is a creator wondering what their newsletter or YouTube channel could sell for, a domain investor sizing up an aged name, or a founder preparing to list a small SaaS, there is a way to get a free website valuation before the conversation with a buyer or broker ever starts.

"The whole point is that an owner can actually see what their asset is worth, why it's worth that, and what to fix — before they ever list it or sit down with a broker," said co-founder Alex Tarlescu.

"A content site doing a few hundred dollars a month might be worth $8,000 or $40,000 — and anything in between — depending on how that traffic earns and where it comes from," Tarlescu continued. "Most people have no idea, so they either leave money on the table or chase a number that was never real. Our job isn't to broker the deal — it's just to show them what they're actually looking at before they get down the line."

In the coming weeks, Real Site Worth plans to deepen its coverage across more asset types and add report tiers with a fuller valuation memo and the complete value-gap roadmap.

Skincare As Daily Ritual: How Sweetwater Labs Frames Its Natural Product Line As Part Of A Larger Personal Practice

Skincare As Daily Ritual: How Sweetwater Labs Frames Its Natural Product Line As Part Of A Larger Personal Practice
"When we started this company, the goal was never to be the biggest skincare brand on the market. It was to create natural products that genuinely work and to treat every customer the way we would want to be treated," said Nadia Doh, Founder of Sweetwater Labs.

For most of the beauty industry, skincare is sold on results. The fastest path to fewer fine lines, the brightest glow, the most dramatic before-and-after. Sweetwater Labs takes a different position on what skincare is. The New York-based natural brand frames its product line as part of a daily personal ritual, with the act of using a product treated as meaningful in itself rather than as a means to a specific outcome.

The framing reflects how many of the brand's most loyal customers actually use the products. The morning application of a face oil. The evening serum. The weekend mask. Each step is a small act of attention, and the brand has built its formulations and presentation around the idea that the experience of using the product matters as much as the result it produces. Natural ingredients deliver scents that are not engineered but emerge from the formulation itself. Packaging arrives in detail, with each order finished by hand. The cumulative experience is closer to a small luxury than to a transactional purchase.

Customer feedback consistently reflects that orientation. Linda Rose Cimillo, describing her first shipment, wrote: "Beyond the samples which are such a smart idea, there was more. Cloud Soap will likely be part of my regular facial cleansing routine. And then... fleur body oil. I love the presentation with floating flowers. To complete the lovely package, all come in delicate sheer bags. Sweetwater Labs is special. I am so glad that I have made this connection." The word "connection" is the operative one. A skincare product that becomes part of a daily ritual is one a customer returns to.

The brand reports that a significant portion of its revenue comes from repeat customers, with some buyers having used the brand exclusively for six years or more. Anna F, a six-year customer, describes the experience: "I really have not enough words to recommend them!" The longevity of the customer relationship is, by the brand's own framing, evidence that the ritual approach works better than the results-only approach for some segment of the beauty market.

The Sweetwater Labs product line includes 100% natural skincare across serums, face oils, masks, glycolic face washes, treatment products, and body care, along with a line of eco-friendly wood wick candles. The brand's two best-known products are the Rose Face Oil, blended from Bulgarian rose and argan oils, and the Vitamin Face Serum, built around vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. Recent additions to the lineup include the Bloom Night Retinol Serum, a Firming Booster, and the Revive Glycolic Acid and Rosewater Mask.

The brand was founded by Nadia Doh after a decade of apothecary and botanical science research, prompted by her own repeated allergic reactions to conventional skincare products. Every Sweetwater Labs purchase includes free samples, larger orders include surprise gifts, and the brand offers free U.S. shipping with no minimum order requirement. A 100% satisfaction guarantee with a zero-hassle return policy and no time restriction backs every product. All Sweetwater Labs products are 100% natural, cruelty-free, vegan (with the exception of goat's milk soaps), and non-GMO.

The solid-liquid separation practice of XMY20-630/30 filter press in the production of dye intermediates

Project Background

A certain fine chemical enterprise in the Middle East mainly produces dyes and their intermediate products. During the production process, it generates a large amount of acidic slurry with high color and high salt content. Efficient solid-liquid separation equipment is needed to separate the solid crystals from the reaction products in the mother liquor. Previously, the customer used a centrifuge for separation, but there were problems such as high liquid content in the filter residue, high energy consumption for subsequent drying, and the sealing parts being easily corroded and leaked by the acidic materials when the centrifuge was running at high speed. The customer has put forward high requirements for the corrosion resistance, filtration efficiency and operational safety of the equipment.

Solution

Due to the low pH value of the materials, the fine solid particles and their certain stickiness, the technical team selected the XMY20-630/30 box-type filter press for the customer. This model adopts a central hole feeding method, where the slurry is quickly and evenly injected into each filter chamber from the center of the filter plate, avoiding the problems of feed channel blockage and uneven filling of filter chambers that may occur when using corner feeding in high-viscosity materials.

1.jpg

The frame is made of carbon steel and coated with anti-corrosion paint, which meets the requirements for use in general chemical environments. The key anti-corrosion feature is the accompanying double-sided PVC water collection trough - it effectively collects the acidic mother liquor seeping out from the filter cloth during the pressure filtration process, preventing it from dripping and corroding the bottom of the frame and the floor of the workshop. At the same time, the two water troughs are divided for drainage, facilitating the diversion and recovery of different quality filtrate streams.

In terms of operation, the automatic hydraulic pressing system provides stable and reliable sealing pressure, ensuring no leakage or spillage of the filter cake under a filtration pressure of 0.3 MPa. The discharge is designed with a manual pull plate mechanism. For materials like dye intermediates with strong adhesion to the filter cake, operators can flexibly control the discharge rhythm. When there is a large amount of residue on the filter cloth, they can promptly clean it to avoid filter cloth blockage and affect the filtration efficiency of the next cycle. The double flow design enables operators to visually compare the clarity of the liquid output from each filter plate. When the liquid output from a certain filter plate is significantly turbid, they can quickly identify the damaged filter cloth and replace it, significantly reducing the time for troubleshooting.

Operating effect

After the equipment was put into production, the single batch filtration cycle remained stable. The moisture content of the filter cake was reduced by nearly ten percentage points compared to the original centrifuge process. The subsequent fluidized bed drying time was shortened, and energy consumption decreased simultaneously. The clarity of the mother liquor significantly improved, with the suspended matter content greatly reduced, effectively alleviating the burden of the mother liquor recovery and refining process.

How Da Village Network Is Turning Everyday Shopping Into an Act of Economic Empowerment for the Black Community

How Da Village Network Is Turning Everyday Shopping Into an Act of Economic Empowerment for the Black Community
People want to support Black-owned businesses — that desire is real and it is growing. But the infrastructure has not always been there to make it easy. Da Village Network removes the guesswork. We verify the businesses, curate the products, and give our members real savings so that doing the right thing with your dollar does not feel like a sacrifice — it feels like the smartest decision you can make.
Da Village Network is a membership-driven online marketplace that saves shoppers 15 percent on every purchase while ensuring every dollar spent goes directly to verified Black-owned businesses. Da Village is redefining what it means to shop with purpose — making community investment as simple and rewarding as adding items to a cart.

For most consumers who want to support Black-owned businesses, the problem has never been willingness. It has been access.

Where do you find them? How do you know they are legitimate? How do you make it a habit instead of a one-time gesture? These are the questions that have stood between good intentions and real economic impact for years. Da Village Network was built to answer all of them — and then get out of the way so people can just shop.

The platform operates as a centralized online marketplace where every single vendor is a verified Black-owned business. That verification is not a checkbox or a marketing claim. It is the foundation of trust that Da Village Network is built on. Shoppers do not have to research ownership, question authenticity, or wonder whether their money is actually reaching the community they care about. The work has already been done. All they have to do is shop.

At the center of the Da Village experience is a membership program unlike anything mainstream retail offers. Members receive a flat 15 percent discount on every purchase — no coupon codes, no seasonal promotions, no fine print. Just straightforward savings that make community-conscious shopping the financially smart choice every single time. For less than three dollars a month, shoppers get a reason to come back and a reason to feel good about it.

This model speaks directly to the platform's core community — conscious consumers between 25 and 45 who are done separating their values from their spending. This is a generation that reads labels, researches brands, and holds their dollars accountable. They are not looking for performative gestures or one-off diversity campaigns from corporations. They want a reliable, everyday way to put their money where their heart already is. Da Village Network gives them exactly that.

The economic case behind the mission is impossible to ignore. Black consumers in the United States generate over 1.6 trillion dollars in spending power every single year. Yet only an estimated two to three percent of that money circulates back into Black-owned businesses. The rest flows outward — into corporations and retail ecosystems that have rarely, if ever, reinvested in the communities that helped build them. That is not just a statistic. That is generational wealth leaving the village every single day.

But Da Village Network was built with a different vision. The goal has always been bigger than sales numbers. Every dollar earned through the platform is designed to find its way back into the community that spent it — recycled through Black-owned businesses, Black employees, and Black families building toward something lasting. A customer buys a product. That money reaches a Black business owner. That owner hires from the community. That employee supports their family. That family spends locally. That is not just commerce. That is a cycle of wealth that stays where it belongs — inside the village. That circular economy is not a side effect of what Da Village does. It is the entire point.

Da Village Network exists to change that math — one transaction at a time.

The impact goes further than any single purchase. Black-owned businesses are three times more likely to hire from within their own communities. That means every order placed through Da Village Network is not just supporting one entrepreneur. It is sustaining jobs, creating opportunities, and strengthening the economic fabric of neighborhoods that have been overlooked by mainstream commerce for far too long. The ripple effect is real and it compounds with every sale.

Visibility has always been one of the biggest barriers for Black-owned businesses in the e-commerce space. Algorithm-driven platforms favor established brands with large advertising budgets, pushing smaller and minority-owned businesses to the bottom of search results where they are rarely discovered. Da Village flips that entirely. Here, Black-owned businesses are not a subcategory or a filtered search option. They are the main event — front and center, exactly where they belong.

The marketplace is curated with intention. Every product listed on Da Village Network represents a real business owner building something meaningful — crafting quality products, hiring from their community, and working toward financial independence and generational wealth. Shopping here is not just commerce. It is participation in something bigger.

As economic equity continues to shape how Americans spend and where they place their loyalty, Da Village Network stands as a living, breathing answer to the question of what purposeful commerce actually looks like in practice. It is not a campaign. It is not a trend. It is a movement — and it is open to everyone who believes that where you spend your money matters.

Da Village Network is available nationwide at davillagenetwork.com. New members, new vendors, and new believers in the village are always welcome.

Mesa, Arizona AI Studio QuarterSmart Relaunches to Help Teams Turn SOPs Into AI Training and Automation

Mesa, Arizona AI Studio QuarterSmart Relaunches to Help Teams Turn SOPs Into AI Training and Automation
Hyrum Hurst, founder of QuarterSmart, an AI implementation studio in Mesa, Arizona.
AI implementation studio QuarterSmart, founded by Hyrum Hurst, one of the youngest verified top-50 n8n creators, relaunches with a new "Train your team. Automate the rest." approach that turns company SOPs into AI training and automations.

MESA, Ariz. - June 26, 2026 - QuarterSmart, an AI implementation studio founded by Hyrum Hurst, today announced the relaunch of its platform under a new approach: "Train your team. Automate the rest." Hurst, a Google Certified AI Automations Engineer and one of the youngest verified top-50 creators on the automation platform n8n, with templates used more than 10,000 times, founded the studio to help organizations move from AI interest to AI their teams actually use.

QuarterSmart helps growing businesses, nonprofits, and operations teams turn their standard operating procedures (SOPs) into two working assets at once: AI-generated training that gets new hires productive faster, and automations that remove the manual, repetitive work. The company builds, hosts, and maintains these systems, so AI becomes part of a team's daily operations instead of a one-off experiment.

"Most companies are interested in AI but get stuck turning that interest into something their team actually uses," said Hyrum Hurst, founder of QuarterSmart. "We take the knowledge a business already has, its SOPs and tribal knowledge, and turn each one into both a training course people learn from and an automation that does the work. Same source, two outputs."

Training and enablement is central to how QuarterSmart works. Hurst typically starts by reviewing a team's SOPs, builds a training system around them, and teaches employees how to use AI directly in their day-to-day roles, including hands-on tools like Claude Code and other AI assistants. Once a team is enabled, he identifies the manual work that remains and turns it into automation. Hurst has trained teams at businesses and nonprofits on practical AI usage and AI-assisted development.

The results are measurable. In one onboarding-system build, his approach cut new-hire ramp time and repeat questions by 65 percent and reduced SOP-related mistakes by 36 percent across seven operational roles. As a verified creator on the automation platform n8n, Hurst ranks among the top 50 creators worldwide, with 25 published templates spanning AI video production, lead capture, client onboarding, and operations workflows, and he publishes open-source AI developer tools.

Based in Mesa, Arizona, QuarterSmart works with direct clients and also serves as an implementation partner for AI consultancies and agencies that need a technical team to deliver client work. The studio is led by Hurst alongside operator and outreach manager Cullen Brown. Hurst holds AI and prompt-engineering certifications from Anthropic and Google and has been cited on AI topics in industry press.

"AI adoption fails when the training never reaches a real workflow, or the automation ideas never get built," Hurst added. "We train the team to use AI in their actual jobs, build the automation for what is left, and stay on to maintain it."

QuarterSmart is now accepting new engagements. More information is available at quartersmart.com
