On October 16, the 2025 Huai’an Golden Autumn Investment and Trade Fair opened. Shi Zhijun, Secretary of the Huai’an Municipal Party Committee, attended and delivered a speech, while Mayor Gu Kun presided over the conference. Representatives from enterprises, including Liu Jingzhen of China Logistics Group and Dong Caiping of Zhongtian Iron & Steel Group, also addressed the event. Representatives from Minth Group, Shagang Group, China Jushi, and Taihua New Materials attended the fair.

In recent years, Huai’an has focused on high-quality development, achieving steady growth in its development pace, a rapid rise in urban vitality, and continuous improvement in overall performance. With ongoing breakthroughs in building a strong industrial city, the convergence of strategic opportunities, and deep trust from enterprises, Huai’an has laid a solid foundation for leapfrog development and surpassing new milestones.

In his speech, Shi Zhijun noted that as Huai’an enters the “15th Five-Year Plan” period, the city will uphold the path of new-type industrialization, driving growth through both project development and technological innovation. It will cultivate emerging industrial clusters to help Jiangsu become a key hub for developing new quality productive forces. Huai’an will also deepen its integration into the Yangtze River Delta’s collaborative system by building distinctive industrial, innovation, and supply chains, while developing itself into a major transportation and economic hub in the northern Yangtze River Delta. The city will adhere to the principle of “doing better than saying, and serving ahead of needs,” further enhancing its strengths in consumption, education, and healthcare, so that enterprises can enjoy a prosperous business environment and a high quality of life in Huai’an.
Shi emphasized that changing the event’s name from a “Negotiation Meeting” to a “Consultation Meeting” highlights the importance of sincerity—the core of Huai’an’s “full sincerity” approach. The goal is to engage in genuine exchanges with enterprises for high-quality development, provide dedicated services to facilitate negotiations and agreements, and extend heartfelt invitations to work together in building a better hometown.
Liu Jingzhen stated that China Logistics Group deeply recognizes Huai’an’s strong commitment to creating a first-class business environment, and choosing Huai’an was a strategic decision. The group will leverage its core strengths to support Huai’an in building a major land-sea intermodal corridor in eastern China.
Dong Caiping praised Huai’an for offering “utmost sincerity, responsibility, and service” throughout every stage—from project landing to construction and operation—and called on more enterprises to take root in Huai’an and jointly write a new chapter in industrial revitalization and national development.
At the opening ceremony, several major projects were signed.
