San Diego, CA - August 27, 2025 - Stacey Roberts, award-winning author and children’s literacy advocate, is proud to announce the launch of Anna and Reggie Rapasaurus. This heartwarming and rhythmic story blends music, movement, and storytelling into a multicultural experience for young readers. The creative team behind the book includes the talented duo Chris and Julie Nowlin, illustrator Poornima, and notably Bill Harris, whose work in children’s music laid the foundation for Anna and Reggie Rapasaurus. Stacey shared, “Bill's whimsical musical vision was a key building block for this amazing book. Our collaboration sparked many, many creative gems.”
The launch of Anna and Reggie Rapasaurus coincides with Roberts’ appearance at the KPBS Book Festival at USD in Linda Vista, where thousands, including star performer Ziggy Marley, will gather for a day of global storytelling, family fun, and literary celebration. Stacey will host a booth featuring English and Spanish paperbacks, as well as eBooks available for online purchase.
Recently, Stacey was a featured presenter at Head Start, where over 90 early educators experienced the story, live songs, and more. The event was a powerful demonstration of how Anna and Reggie transcend the page to become an immersive experience that ignites the classroom.
This first installment is just the beginning. As Stacy says, “We are the gift. Each one of us has something special to give. We have to unpack the goods.”
