Armine Baltazar is the new President of Family Divorce Solutions, an organization of attorneys, mental health professionals, and financial experts who help guide couples through the collaborative divorce process.
Ms. Baltazar is a Mediator, Family Law and Collaborative Attorney with offices in Los Angeles and Orange County.
"It is a privilege to be elected President by the members of Family Divorce Solutions. I appreciate their trust and am honored to follow in the footsteps of the outstanding leaders who have served before me,” Ms. Baltazar said.
As every President with Family Divorce Solutions, Ms. Baltazar encourages the members to reach out to her and the rest of the Board with ideas to better the organization, grow the membership and improve the collaborative divorce process.
Nora Kavner is the Vice President and will be President in 2027. Ms. Kavner has been a family law attorney practicing for over 40 years, and has interned for family law judges, volunteered extensively in family laws clinics, has been Of Counsel to a family law litigator, and is a volunteer family law mediator through the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Our Treasurer for 2026 is again Lynda Schauer, CPA, CVA/CGMA. She is responsible for managing the Association's money and making regular financial reports to the Board. As a forensic CPA, she gives clients support, guidance and understanding to help them through the Collaborative process.
Cynthia Todd will serve as Secretary in 2026. She is responsible for keeping accurate minutes of meetings, organizing information and assisting Ms. Baltazar and the rest of the Board. She is a collaborative attorney, mediator and family law attorney.
As immediate past president, Ms. Reichenbach will work with Ms. Baltazar to ensure a smooth transition. Ms. Reichenbach is a licensed clinical psychologist.
Christine Kerian is a member-at-large and on the Social, Programs and Membership Committees. She is an experienced mediation lawyer with over 15 years’ experience in family law matters who helps individuals bring harmony and balance back into their lives without having to go to court and exhaust their resources.
Ty Supancic is a member-at-large, the Diversity DEI Chair, and on the Marketing and Membership Committees. He is a collaborative attorney, bringing a unique perspective to problem-solving and client care. Ty is passionate about helping couples lovingly reorganize their families while minimizing divorce costs by utilizing collaborative divorce.
Dr. James Walton is a past president and member-at-large of the Board, the Chair of the Marketing Committee and on the Divorce Options Committee. He has been in practice for over 30 years and has a private psychotherapy practice in the San Fernando Valley. He specializes in communication skills and anger management. Dr. Walton has a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, a master's degree in Family Therapy and an MBA in Global Management.
Darlene Wanger is a member-at-large and is the Membership Chair. She has practiced law for more than 15 years and specializes in complex child custody matters, as well as having expertise in complex financial matters. Darlene believes that all families should first attempt to resolve their disputes through consensual dispute resolution methods, such as collaborative law.
Barbara Zipperman is a member-at-large and on the Marketing and Program Committees. Barbara is a family law attorney who believes that whenever possible, the process of dissolving and restructuring a family should be accomplished in a peaceful and dignified manner through consensual dispute resolution methods such as collaborative law or mediation. With her experience she guides parties to be solution focused and explore options that works for the whole family.
