Sweeter, a leading experiential marketing agency based in New York City, has partnered with the Plant Based Foods Association (PBFA) to present an exclusive plant-based culinary event at the Jacob Javits Center and Bryant Park. This unique experience showcased PBFA’s mission to promote sustainable, plant-based foods, featuring an innovative menu curated by renowned Chef Nina Curtis at the heart of New York City.
Sweeter managed every aspect of the event, starting with scouting and securing permits for both venues. The selection of Jacob Javits Center and Bryant Park provided optimal, high-traffic locations to engage a large and diverse audience. Over the course of the event, more than 2,000 guests were served directly from one of Sweeter’s branded food trucks, allowing attendees to sample a variety of plant-based dishes at no cost. This immersive experience enabled guests to explore the world of plant-based cuisine in a vibrant and interactive atmosphere.
At the core of the event’s success was a custom menu designed by Chef Curtis, an expert in plant-based culinary arts. Chef Curtis created five exclusive dishes that exemplified her dedication to sustainability and flavor innovation. To support her culinary vision, Sweeter sourced premium ingredients, complemented by donations from 12 brands represented by PBFA. To efficiently manage the high volume of guests, Sweeter established a dedicated prep kitchen and assembled a team of chefs to assist Chef Curtis. Each dish was served in custom-printed packaging, enhancing PBFA’s brand presence and reinforcing the event’s focus on environmentally friendly practices.
In addition to the custom packaging, Sweeter designed and displayed informative signage throughout both venues. This signage detailed each dish’s ingredients, outlined the benefits of plant-based foods, and shared insights into PBFA’s mission.
