Philadelphia, PA - YouTube Live has recently added the ability to live stream multiple cameras to a single YouTube video allowing viewers to select the video feed they want to watch. PTZOptics a live streaming camera manufacturer has recently published a free tutorial outlining how to use this feature to create crowd pleasing “behind the scenes” camera options for live viewers. The new live streaming feature available to YouTube content creators is a little known secret PTZOptic’s is pioneering the use case for.
In the video below, Paul Richards, Chief Streaming Officer for PTZOptics reviews how the new feature was successfully used on a live show August 19th, 2016. “Live streaming two or more camera feeds to a single event is a feature currently unique to YouTube Live. It can be used for all kinds of live events and even pre-recorded videos.” Inside the YouTube player you can see a “Camera Switch” feature says Richards. “During our live PTZOptics show viewers were able to check out a behind the scenes view of our studio.”
