NHV NATURAL PET PRODUCTS GIVES BACK SELFLESSLY THROUGH SELFIE CAMPAIGN

"Keeping pets healthy is our top priority," says Patra De Silva, President of NHV Natural Pet Products, makers of veterinarian-approved and formulated plant-based natural supplements. "Cats and dogs living in shelters are in a vulnerable position. We are pleased to support rescue centers around the country in their work to care for homeless pets. "
NHV Natural Pet Products conducted their second annual #NHVNaturalselfie campaign, asking pet owners to share selfies of their pets on Instagram and Twitter. NHV pledged to donate $5000 worth of supplements to homeless pets in need if they reached 15,000 selfies in one month. The campaign surpassed its goal - receiving nearly 18,000 selfies - and NHV has helped several sickly pets at shelters across the country.

Gramps is a senior cat living with cancer at the Saving Seniors Cat Rescue in Pennsylvania. NHV donated to Gramps a 100-day supply of some supplements he really needed -- NHV Milk Thistle for his liver, ES Clear, which includes Sheep’s Sorrel and Slippery Elm to help his body cope with cancer by supporting the immune system and eliminating toxins, and NHV Nature’s Immuno, a holistic blend of medicinal mushrooms to help keep tumor growth in check.

Helen, a sweet Yorkie rescued by Walk Me Home Rescue in California. Helen is 10 years old and suffers from kidney disease. When she arrived at the rescue she was not spayed, had a large polyp in her ear and was in desperate need of dental care. NHV sent Helen some NHV Tripsy a powerful blend of natural herbs (stone root, parsley piert, wild hydrangea, gravel root, echinacea purpurea, marshmallow, and Oregon grape) that help support the kidneys. She was also given NHV Turmeric and NHV Milk Thistle to help ease the inflammation after surgery and help her liver to detoxify the system after her lengthy anesthesia.

Honor was rescued from a puppy mill by HavaHeart rescue in Missouri. She spent the first 3 years of her life confined to a tiny cage and producing puppies to be sold, with no quality of life or socialization. Because of this, she was terrified of the new world around her. She also had some dental disease as well. NHV provided NHV Lesstress to help calm her anxiety so she can adjust more easily, NHV Mouth Drops to help reduce inflammation of her gums and fight dental infection and NHV Multi Essentials to help fill any nutritional voids, increase energy and aid with effective digestion.

NHV’s focus for the selfie campaign donation was on helping pets who were less likely to find homes, such as older cats and dogs as well as those with special needs or contagious conditions. They specifically reached out to no-kill shelters who are 501C registered in the U.S.
