NeoDocto Malaria Eradication Programme received an immense support from Indian Medical Association through a collaboration with NeoDocto Foundation, USA.

'NeoDocto Malaria Eradication Programme' receives a huge support from the members of Indian Medical Association to control malaria disease in India. The Global Vice President and CIO of NeoDocto Inc., Dr. Phani Bhushan Sanneerappa met the key members of Indian Medical Association and discussed on NeoDocto malaria initiatives through collaboration with multiple government and non-government bodies.

Manhattan, New York - 20 March 2018: NeoDocto has taken a big stride to collaborate with multiple regulatory bodies in national capital to eradicate malaria disease in India. After the collaboration with Health Minister of Government of the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi, Medical Council of India and Mayor of North Delhi Municipal Corporation, NeoDocto Foundation successfully collaborated with Indian Medical Association.

Dr. Phani Bhushan Sanneerappa, Global Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer of NeoDocto Inc. met the key members of Indian Medical Association and laid root plans for further deployment of resources and assistance. He met Dr. R. N. Tandon, Honarary Secretary General, Dr. Ramesh Datta and Dr. Vinod khetarpal, Honarary Joint Secretary. Dr. V.K. Monga, Honarary Finance secretary and Dr. Manjul Mehta, Honarary Joint finance secretary and discussed on health awareness initiatives to control malaria through medicated mosquito nets and multidrug resistant treatment options.

Indian Medical Association is one of the largest medical association in South East Asia with 2,77,758 members in 2017.  It is the only representative, national voluntary organisation of Doctors of Modern Scientific System of Medicine, which looks after the interest of doctors as well as the well being of the community at large. Indian Medical Association was founded in 1928 and in 2013, Indian Medical Student Association was started and has around 50,000 students.

Many malaria endemic areas in India were included in the discussion which requires an immediate attention like Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. NeoDocto malaria initiative has gained a huge support and momentum with the involvement of multiple state governments of India which is a sign of consistent growth and development, said by Dr. Sanneerappa.

Further, Dr. Sanneerappa shared the positive notes of the meeting with Indian Medical Association members support to NeoDocto Malaria Eradication Programme.
