Delray Beach founder and practice owner Dr. Robert Adami, from Designer Family Dental, helped the residents and families of Boynton Beach, Delray Beach and surrounding communities during these difficult economic times, by giving free Emergency Dental Treatment on Wednesday, February 14th.
The free dental treatments were given at Dr. Adami’s office located at 16235 State Road 7, Delray Beach, FL 33446.
“There was a huge turnout at the event. We helped 38 patients and performed various procedures for a total of $15,901 in free dental treatment. There were cleanings, fillings, and tooth extractions,” explains Dr. Adami, adding, “These people shouldn’t suffer from pain just because they are in a difficult financial situation and cannot afford oral care treatment.”
The Emergency Dental Treatment Day was designed to treat anyone for free, who could not afford dentistry due to financial hardship. The well-known mobile blood donation center, One Blood, was also available on the site to receive blood donation from participants.
Dr. Adami was inspired to produce this community effort after having to witness more and more families that have to forgo dental care for their children and themselves, because they have no insurance and aren’t able to afford the cost of a dental visit.
According to Dr. Adami, “Anyone with a dental emergency that could not afford it, was provided with emergency dental treatment for free.”

“In a troubled economy that affects many Americans, the spirit of giving to others is needed more than ever,” Dr. Adami concludes. He held free dentistry events before, and will continue in the future, because he strongly believes in keeping his community strong.
