‘Lemon Aid,’ a New Subscription Box Service Delivers Hope and Encouragement to Women During Divorce

San Luis Obispo, CA - October 19, 2017 - For almost half of those taking a walk down the aisle, wedded bliss never quite comes to fruition. Divorce can be mutually agreed upon or can completely blindside one party. Regardless of the circumstances leading up to the divorce, one thing that everyone can agree on is that divorce is a difficult and challenging time in one’s life.

LemonAidBox.com is a new, monthly subscription box service designed to provide comfort and relief to women during divorce or custody battles. While there are new subscription boxes emerging every day, none cater to this group of women who are enduring one of life’s biggest known stressors. The first of its kind, each Lemon Aid Box delivery incudes gifts and inspirational items which are hand-selected by founder, Tina Swithin. “My goal is to deliver messages of hope and empowerment,” explains Swithin. Each box will have a monthly theme such as gratitude, self-love, new beginnings and faith.

The Lemonade Box came to fruition because of the personal experiences of its founder, Tina Swithin. Because of her own divorce, Tina understood the isolating effect divorce can have on women. “Divorce causes many of us to ‘cocoon’ - to go inward to self-reflect and heal. Those around us may encourage us to dust ourselves off and move forward but the path of healing is a very intimate, personal experience that not everyone will understand. I see the Lemon Aid Box as a ray of hope that lets the recipient know that they are not alone.” Swithin explains.

"My own divorce was a ‘Category 5 hurricane’ that lasted for six years. I quickly learned how isolating this battle can be. I've dedicated my life to ensuring that other women feel less alone in their own divorces. Creating Lemon Aid is my way to send a monthly reminder that there is light at the end of the tunnel and that while life may deliver lemons, there is ‘aid’ for what ails us," says Tina.

A subscription box from the Lemon Aid Box is designed to offer solace so they can face the challenges of divorce head on. There are monthly options available or a one-time gift option. When life gives you lemons (divorce), LemonAidBox.com delivers Lemon Aid.
