The film is the story of Kuldip Patwal -- a commoner thrown into a jail cell on suspicion of the murder of a local politician. Does he survive the state’s entrapment? Or even more harrowing, did he actually commit the crime?
“People have been looking forward with anticipation to the release of “Kuldip Patwal...” for quite some time now.” said director Remy Kohli. “Now having had its premiere in Cannes, we want to bring it to the audiences here in the UK and Ireland.”
Kuldip Patwal will make its official British and Irish debut on August 18 at select theatres. Right after its UK release, it will open in North America, India, and the Middle East.
Deepak Dobriyal, who plays the lead role in the movie ‘Kuldip Patwal: I didn’t do it!’ has earned fame with popular movies like Gulaal, Omkara, the hit Tanu weds Manu returns and the recent Hindi Medium.
Critically acclaimed actor Raima Sen, who has worked in several Bengali and Hindi films is also a part of this movie. Gulshan Devaiah of ‘Hunterr’ fame along with Parvin Dabas, a popular actor and model will also be playing prominent roles in the movie.
