Digital First Celebrates Success of STEM Best Practice Summit - Dubai

DUBAI, UAE - A groundbreaking Summit, which gathered the experts and practitioners of STEM Education best practices from the region and overseas, took place in DUCTAC, Mall of Emirates, in Dubai, UAE, on June 15th, 2017. Digital First, the company that that organized the Summit and seeing it through its completion, is proud to announce that the event concluded with remarkable success.

Attended by 347 Educators (33 Nationalities) from 141 Schools & 19 Speakers (9 Nationalities), the STEM Best Practice Summit-Dubai brought together Educators, School Leadership Team, STEM-related service providers and STEM professionals, who discussed the best practices and inspired each other to overcome the some of the current challenges in K-12 STEM Education. Team from Five Schools with their STEM Teachers and Students showcased their Best Practices, Case Studies and Lessons Learned in the Summit.

Key STEM Implementation Providers in the region participated in this Independent Summit and taken the audience through the STEM implementation process and discussed potential challenges involved during the process.

Attendance to the STEM Best Practice Summit-Dubai was free. Summit had highly interesting topics, speakers and attendees shared, learned, and took away actionable Best Practices from this independent Summit to tackle some of the biggest challenges in the implementation of STEM Education.

Digital First announced its plan for the STEM Best Practice Award 2017 – UAE during the Summit and they said the nomination submissions for the awards will start on 15th September 2017 through their Web Portal www. The STEM Best Practice Awards – UAE are designed to recognize and reward Schools and STEM Teachers who made outstanding contribution in the implementation of STEM Education in K-12 Schools in UAE. A panel of STEM Education Experts from Education and Industry will review nominations, visit schools and select awardees who have made outstanding contributions in the implementation of STEM Education. Recipients of these awards will be invited to attend and receive their STEM Best Practice Awards at the next STEM Best Practice Summit in UAE.
