From the debuts as a writer for internationally renowned artists such as Paola & Chiara (Italy), to his latest album "Pulse", Nyls managed to bypass the traditional promotional schemes: discreet by nature, deliberately not present on stage, he's managed to place several of his singles at the top of some European and sometimes even Japanese and Australian charts with more than 400,000 albums and singles sold worldwide, releasing catchy tracks (Phoenix, Ecstasy, It's Gonna Be Alright , Crazy, Home, Heartbeating, Colder, Talk Shit About Me ...) for almost a decade, including some prestigious collaborations, such as Marco Contini (Laura Pausini, Mango ...), Mauro Balletti Puzzle, Sergej Falk, Full Intention (Lady Gaga, t.A.t.U., Madonna ...), Danny G, Skarface and many others.
The artist returns today with an unreleased single produced between Los Angeles and Italy (Abruzzi). "Rise" is the name of this new pop song, packed with cool and catchy rhythms. For the first time in his career, Nyls worked with American producer Ryan Chandler, who composed this electronic masterpiece especially for Nyls. The video was directed by Fabrizio Panzella, and will be premiered on June 2nd on Vevo and MTV.
About the hopeful lyrics of the song, Nyls said:
"On June 12th, 2016, I was at home, and like many people that day, I was speechless and deeply touched when I heard that 49 people had lost their lives in the Pulse Club shooting in Orlando, Florida; moreover a totally homophobic attack. Needless to say, the recent tragedy in Manchester only rekindles these emotions, which in these times seem to become unfortunately more and more frequent and trivialized. Through this song, I simply wanted to celebrate the importance of believing in oneself, in one's own diversity, to love one another and to be united with one another."
This "Greatest Hits" also marks the end of the collaboration between the French label Icon Records (Universal) and the singer, for whom the creation of an international artist collective and an independent label seems imminent.
Nyls will be touring throughout Europe from July 2017 with his “Golden Experience Tour” which will begin this summer in Italy.
