New Release Shows How to Live a Life of Meaning and Purpose

Christian counselors acknowledge that legalism is an element of depression that keeps people in a downward spiritual cycle. Dr. Norman Wise of Living Water Christian Counseling says, “Legalism is the conviction that only those who perfectly obey what is right can be accepted... The legalist can turn on him or herself and decide that they have not performed well enough to accept their own selves.”

Rev. Edmond Dankyi advocates going beyond the mere rule keeping of legalism to living life as a Christian to the fullest. In his new release, In Him We Live (Redemption Press June 2017), the Seattle-area pastor says, “Many live their lives independent of God, leading to mere observance of rules and abstinence.” He adds, “Our lives would be void of purpose and meaning when we do not live in God to the fullest.” The book provides answers to the questions: Who am I? Where do I come from? Where do I go from here?

The founding and senior pastor of The River of Life Christian Center International in Seattle, Wash. says we can learn to live by God’s principles and enjoy the blessings and privileges of being His children by acknowledging Him as the source of all life, living in love and holiness, and being a conduit of blessing to others through faith and prayer. The result is a life of purpose and meaning, and ultimately, eternal salvation.

Rev. Michael Tetteh says In Him We Live “inspires readers to awaken our spiritual connection with our Creator, redirect our focus on God, the source of life, and live as His ambassadors.”
