May 18, 2017 - Arclava Music Company has announced the release of Nova Casanova’s first album titled ‘While They Were Dancing.’ Nova Casanova is a multitalented singer as well as songwriter following the ultra-rock musical style with rock, pop and folk influences. Moreover, Nova is also a gifted guitarist who uses all 10 fingers (no picks). The album features ten tracks that have been produced with a whole new approach to creating amazing music.
“The first song I wrote for this album ’Throw Your Love Away’ was written on an acoustic guitar I had with me when I stumbled upon the grave of James Fenimore Cooper in an old churchyard beside the waters of Lake Otsego in Cooperstown, New York.” Said the artist while talking about the album. “Most of the time I get my song inspiration either "out of the blue" or while I'm watching period dramas or Euro crime shows on TV,” He added. Nova uses the ‘Ultra Rock’ style of guitar and plays many genres including folk, pop, jazz, country and alternative rock.
In addition, Nova prefers to concentrate on positive themes in the song lyrics and utilizes a variety of poetic techniques such as imagery, repetition, personification, alliteration and onomatopoeia. The artist comes from a lineage of Irish American singers and songwriters dating back into the late 1800's. This album is a reflection of all these qualities that he is gifted with and among his inspirations are influencing factors that vary from pure imagination to TV shows and dramas.
