Galatia Films’ Team Summer Update

Los Angeles, CA - April 29, 2017 - The Galatia Films’ team is kicking off summer 2017 with a number of new and ready for production projects. Executive Producer, Nuala Quinn-Barton has just wrapped “Goodbye Christopher Robin” a movie about British author A.A. Milne, who found the inspiration for his Winnie the Pooh books from his son Christopher Robin Milne and his toy stuffed animals.

Fox Searchlight has finished production on the Winnie the Pooh film along with producers Steve Christian and Damian Jones, and has set an awards-season release of November 10th. The film, directed by Simon Curtis, stars Domhnall Gleeson and Margot Robbie.

Galatia’s continued work on “Glastonbury: Isle of Light” progresses this summer with the film being set up in Britain. Key attachments and development are being coordinated with UK agencies and companies to put the film into production. Other projects between Nuala Quinn-Barton and Galatia Films are to follow, with her British comedy “Naughty Boys” scheduled to begin shooting in September.

Written by Carl J. Gavine and from veteran director John Eyres, the comedy stars Nigel Havers (“Empire of the Sun”), Tony Maudsley (“Harry Potter”) and Jimmy Vee (“Star Wars:The Last Jedi”). “Naughty Boys” will be a in the style of “The Full Monty”, “Bend It Like Beckham” and “Bridget Jones’s Diary”.
