Metallica announces 2017 WorldWired Tour On Sale 2017 Metallica Tickets
The Metallica tour 2017 dates are just around the corner, and tickets look like they are flying out really fast. The tour is aptly named WorldWired, which sounds similarly familiar to their Hardwired… to Self Destruct album that was released in November of last year.

WorldWired Tour started on Oct. 26, 2016 in Puerto Rico, but the warm-up shows started in Webster Hall in New York. The Latin America leg took the band from Puerto Rico to Costa Rica. They will be all over the place and they won’t just be focused on their U.S. leg.

This is the band’s first big U.S. Tour in around 8 years, and fans are definitely excited. In fact a lot of tickets have already been sold and we should all really try to grab somebefore they all run out!

The WorldWired Tour tour will start running in May in Baltimore and will go on for about three months until the middle of August. The band hasn’t played together in really big events for a really long time; further fuelling the heavy metal fever.

Metallica was founded in 1981 when Lars Ulrich posted an ad to which James Hetfield, Metallica vocalist and guitarist, answered. The rest is just rock and roll history. Little did they know that they were about to from one of the most popular thrash and heavy metal bands of all time.

Their current lineup still has James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich on the drums. Alongside they feature Robert Tujillo on bass and Kirk Hammett on lead. They have also had their share of musicians having to part ways with the band with Ron McGovney, Dave Mustaine, Cliff Burton, and Kason Newsted leaving due to various reasons.

Nevertheless, Metallica will forever be immortalized as one of the greatest rock bands in the history of music. Their 1986 album Master of Puppets is not only critically acclaimed and part of the collections of many rock and roll fans; but it has also been described as one of the most influential thrash metal albums.

They are also highly decorated with eight Grammy Awards and a lot of their albums being featured at number on the Billboard 200 during their initial release. The band has had 37 singles, 10 albums at the studio (along with four live albums,) five extended plays, and 26 music videos.
