Now, the creators of this app have launched an IndieGoGo campaign to raise funding for the development and implementation of this innovative application.
Betlyn is designed to use a gaming format combined with social networking to allow users to win prizes and meet new people. Users create a profile, set privacy settings and enter the Betlyn community where they can challenge others and bet on the outcome of the duel.
There are three levels of betting, including Little Puppy, which are non-economic bets that allow anyone to participate by offering some small action as payment such as writing a poem or singing a song; Naughty Puppy, which allows adults to bet on things such as physical contact or money rewards; and Evil Puppy, which allows couples and lovers to bet on the spiciest of terms. Payment for winning comes in the form of "Puppus," a unique currency created by Betlyn which can be exchanged for prizes.
