Sir Elton John, the legendary performer, is not only one of the greatest all-around musicians in the world, he is one of the most loved individuals of all time. The 68-year-old has been in the music business since 1964 and with more than five decades in the business, has sold more than 300 million records worldwide, more than 50 top 40 hits, seven straight No. 1 albums in the United States, and numerous other awards and accolades including being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Songwriters Hall of Fame, and is a fellow of the British Academy of Songwriters.
The superstar who has performed around the world including at Royal events including at the Princess Diana funeral has been performing a residency at Caesars Palace for several years and has already been extended into 2017. The show, which has recently been turned into a motion picture, will continue to allow John’s fans the chance to see the British singer and songwriter live in Las Vegas, NV.
Las Vegas and Caesars Palace in particular have been a popular place for big-name artists in recent years as artists like Shania Twain, Cher, and Britney Spears have called the city home recently. John’s show in particular is being held at The Coliseum at Caesars Palace which first opened in 2003 and is the main entertainment venue located at the world famous casino.
On each night at The Coliseum, more than 4,200 fans will be able to get an intimate look at John as he performs all of the hits he has been known for throughout his career. Among the songs that he has performed during his residency in Las Vegas include “Bennie and the Jets,” “Circle of Life,” “Rocket Man,” “I’m Still Standing,” and “Crocodile Rock.”
