Yariyan fame Rakul Preet and Manchu Manoj starrer Telugu Movie Current Theega is going to be released this Friday amid huge expectations and fan following. The movie is directed by G. Nageswara Reddy and features Sunny Leone and Jagapathi Babu in important roles. The music of the movie is composed by Achu, while Satish Mutyala is managing the cinematography. The editing work has been done by S R Shekhar.
Previously, the movie was geared up for the release on October 17, but the same was postponed because of the natural disaster - cyclone HudHud in Vizag. Bollywood sensation Sunny Leone is also making debut in Telugu film industry with Current Theega. The movie is already getting huge reviews, and fans are eagerly waiting for the release.
Current Theega is a total fun movie having all spices including romance, comedy and action. It is a remake of the Tamil film “Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam” that was produced by Ponram. This Tamil movie was a love story of an aimless boy, and ended up a huge hit at box office. In Current Theega, the Telugu version, Rakul and Manoj are playing the leading roles, while Sunny the vital role of a teacher. An item song featuring Sunny Leone is also be there in movie. Sunnny has already won millions of hearts with her sizzling item song ‘Baby Doll’ in Ragini MMS 2.
Speaking to media, Manchu said, “Yes, we have confirmed the release date of Current Theega. Earlier we decided to release it on October 17, but could not due to HudHud. I know fans were disappointed. We are now all now set to release it in huge premier night on 31 October.” He further added, “Now the movie is coming with major changes as compared to the original Tamil version. We have also included a villain's character. The actions in the movie are stronger than the original version and our dialogues are also more entertaining.”
